Five. — Privacy Policy
Last updated: 11 October 2026
Five. is published by By Else Studio. This policy explains, in plain words, what the app does with your data. You can reach us at contact@byelsestudio.com.
The short version
- Five. does not collect, send, share or sell any personal data.
- It works entirely on your phone, without an Internet connection.
- No account, no advertising, no analytics tool, no tracking.
- Your choices (length, rhythm, soundscape, haptics) stay on your phone.
What is saved on your device
Five. remembers only your settings so you find them next time: the session length, the breathing rhythm (and the custom durations you set), the soundscape, and whether haptics are on. They are stored in the app’s private storage on your device. They are never sent to us or to anyone else, and they are deleted when you delete the app.
What Five. does not do
- It does not connect to the Internet or to any server of ours.
- It has no account or sign-in, and does not ask for your name, email address or any identifier.
- It does not use an advertising identifier and contains no advertising, analytics, crash-reporting or tracking tool.
- It does not ask for access to your microphone, camera, location, contacts, photos or notifications.
Sounds and haptics
The soundscapes are stored inside the app and played on your phone. The haptic feedback uses your phone’s vibration engine. Neither involves sending data anywhere.
Information from Apple and Google
If you choose to share app analytics or crash reports with developers in your phone’s settings, Apple (or Google) may give us aggregated, anonymous statistics such as the number of installs or crashes. They do not let us identify you, and Five. itself sends nothing.
Children
Five. collects no data from anyone, including children.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the app evolves. The date at the top of the page shows the latest version.
